Adenanthos sericeus – Woolly Bush Compact

A medium, upright and compact shrub with very soft, pale green foliage and pinkish-red jug flowers. This is a popular screening and hedge shrub that is grown mostly for the attractive foliage. The pale green colour is refreshing in summer and the upright form provides structural contrasts in the garden, while the flowers attract honeyeaters. This compact variety grows to about 2m high and can be easily pruned to desired height and shape. Lovely as a soft, evergreen Christmas tree.
