A medium shrub with holly-like leaves and long racemes of beautiful pink and apricot pea flowers. This lovely shrub brings a gorgeous splash of colour in late winter and spring, growing from about 0.3 to 0.6m high and 1m wide. It forms a spectacular understorey display under trees or in full sun, and is a great feature plant in rockeries. Mulch well to keep the surface soil cool and moist in summer. Tip prune and remove any dead wood after flowering and control slugs, snails and caterpillars. Grows well in sandy loam, limestone sand, loam, gravelly loam and clay loam. Origin – North Coastal limestone hills.
