A fast-growing, medium shrub with soft, green, ovate leaves and clusters of pretty cream flowers followed by unusual green, round, hairy fruit. This is a lovely, soft, leafy shrub that tolerates drought and light shade. It flowers in spring and grows from 0.5 to 1.2m high and 1 to 1.5m wide in a range of well-drained soils, including sand, sandy loam, loam, sandy gravel, gravelly loam and gravelly clay loam. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain a more compact shape if desired. Rare Flora. Origin – South West.
