Eremophila nivea – Silky Eremophila

Medium shrub with soft, densely furry, grey-white leaves and stems, and lovely, mauve tubular flowers. This gorgeous shrub flowers in later winter and spring, and despite its delicate appearance, it is quite hardy. It grows from 1 – 2m tall in well-drained sandy clay, clay loam, gravelly clay loam and loam. Flowers best in full sun with some protection from wind, and tolerates frost and drought. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain a compact form. Origin – Northern Wheatbelt.
