Medium, upright shrub with fresh green leaves and very attractive, yellow to orange flower buds that open to cerise pink tubular flowers. A hardy shrub with delightful flowers with a lovely combination of the yellow-orange buds through to varying shades of pink as the flowers age. It flowers over a long period from winter to summer, and sometimes in autumn, and attracts nectar-feeding birds. It grows from 0.5 to 1.2m high and 0.5 to 1m wide in a variety of soils including sandy and stony loam, loam, sandy clay, clay, clay loam and gravelly clay loam. It flowers best in full sun and tolerates moderate frost and drought. Low maintenance, but prune to maintain a compact shape if required. Priority flora. Origin – Southern Rangelands.
