A small, ornamental mallee with smooth white to coppery-green bark, with silvery-white, rounded juvenile leaves contrasting with very glossy, green adult leaves, and clusters of white flowers and red-orange bud caps. This attractive mallee looks best emerging over smaller native shrubs, providing some dappled shade. The juvenile foliage is excellent for cut foliage and flower arrangements, and the flowers will attract birds to the garden. It grows from 2 to 5m high, spreading to 3 to 4m wide if unpruned, and flowers in late spring and summer. It is very hardy and will tolerate hard pruning to promote juvenile foliage. Origin – Central Wheatbelt.
