A prostrate shrub with fresh green, finely divided leaves and clusters of dusky pink and red spider flowers with long styles. This hardy, quick-growing shrub flowers in autumn, winter and spring and grows to 0.3 – 0.5m high and 2 – 3m wide. It looks great spilling over banks and rock walls, or covering bare areas. It grows in sandy loam, clay loam, gravelly loam, sandy clay and limestone sand. It is low maintenance and can be grown in full sun or part shade. Origin – Northern Sandplains.
