A compact ground cover with curly narrow leaves and interesting red and yellow flowers on long trailing stems. A hardy, dense plant that grows to 0.3m high and 1.5m wide in a variety of soils including sandy loam, gravelly loam, clay loam and harder rocky soils. It flowers mainly in spring with occassional flowers from autumn to summer and attracts honeyeaters. Great for banks and exposed sites, the unusual foliage being the main attraction. Origin – south coast and southern mallee.
