A medium, upright shrub with slightly prickly, broad wavy leaves, clusters of creamy white flowers along the stems and woody fruit. A very hardy plant that flowers in winter and spring and attracts many insects and birds, and the woody fruit are sought by cockatoos. The coppery new growth and wavy adult leaves with their network veins create an interesting effect. It grows from 1 – 1.5m tall in gravelly loam, gravelly clay loam, clay loam, sandy clay and sandy loam in full sun. A good plant for shrubberies and bush regeneration. Origin – South West
