Hypocalymma angustifolium – Coconut Ice

A medium shrub with fine leaves and pretty pink and white flowers along the stems. An attractive shrub that grows from 0.4 to 1.2m high, flowering through winter and spring. It often grows in winter-wet sites but also tolerates drought and frost, and grows in a variety of soils including sandy loam, gravelly loam, clay loam and sandy clay. Origin – widespread in South-west Jarrah forest, Wandoo woodland, shrubland, rock outcrops, along creeks and around wetlands.
