A large, many branched shrub with rounded, silvery-green leaves and large, pastel pink wax flowers. A dense shrub that provides good protection and habitat for small birds and can be used as an effective windbreak. It grows from 2 to 3m high and 2m wide and flowers mainly in spring, with some flowers in autumn and winter. An attractive background shrub that is very hardy and tolerates drought, frost and wind, and is suitable for coastal conditions. Prefers full sun and adapts to a wide range of well-drained soils. Becomes more open with age, so prune early to establish a denser habit as required. Origin – south coast, Esperance.
